This option allows you to automatically batch process all specs of a Workset to sync with the changes made inside the catalog. This option saves a lot of time. With an extensive catalog(s) and multiple associated specs, you can update all the specs simultaneously with this option.

Open Specification Generator and click Sync Specs icon. Displays the following dialog while saving Specs,

Sync Specs Using Command Prompt

To update specs using command prompt, follow these steps:

1. Launch Command Prompt in "Run as administrator" mode and type OpenPlant Project Administrator installation path. Typical path is cd C:\Program Files\Bentley\OpenPlant CONNECT Edition\ProjectAdministrator
2. Type "Bentley.Catalog.SpecGen.exe -SyncSpecs" and press Enter.
3. PW login dialog pops-up, select Cancel if you want load the local Workset.
4. Select the desired Workset required for batch synchronization in the next dialog.

The Synchronization process starts.
